Originating from the Belgian town of Lembeke, Biscoff cookies were first created in 1932 by the Boone Brothers. Soon, that original cookie had been adapted into its caramelised biscuit format, made from natural ingredients. The biscuit was given the name Lotus after the flower of the same name that symbolises purity.

Fast forward to the late 50s, and the Boone Brothers began advertising the pairing of their Lotus cookies with a fresh cup of coffee. By 1960 this trend had become a firm routine in Belgian, with Lotus becoming Europe’s favourite biscuit to pair with a cup of joe.

Over the subsequent decades Lotus Biscoff has become world famous, with the name Biscoff being given to it as a way of honouring the tradition of enjoying it with coffee (as ‘bis’ and ‘coff’ take the first half of each part of the pairing – biscuit and coffee). The natural flavour is made with no colours or added flavours, with Speculoos biscuit and a strong cinnamon and caramel flavour.

To ensure you receive your cake fresh, all of our orders are delivered next day. That means you can have your cake – and eat it – within 24 hours!

Every cake is delivered in a strong corrugated cardboard box to ensure your cake is safe when received. We pack the corrugated box with protective brackets and foam. The parcel will include dry ice as our cakes are sent frozen to retain the freshness and quality of the cake. Being frozen also improves the presentation of the cake when delivered.

All orders placed before 2pm will be dispatched the same day for next working day delivery (unless its a Saturday Delivery). Items will arrive between 8am and 6pm. Any orders made after midday will subsequently be processed the following working day. Deliveries will be made from Tuesday to Saturday.
